Atelier Ateljee’s has been built on nearly two decades of experience in creating and managing events, product development and product launches for large international brands and weddings and events for some very loved private clients. Atelier Ateljee focusses on relaxed design-led full planning, while adding their unique style to every event. They create events and experiences that play on the line between creative, curious and sophisticated.

ABOUT Katrien

Katrien is originally from Stellenbosch in South Africa and has grown up surrounded by art and design her whole life. She spends her time travelling between London, Canada, South Africa and Europe planning weddings and in between she takes in all the culinary delights and landscapes that are on offer.

Being surrounded by all the beautiful things in life and experiencing such a diverse range has sparked a fire of creative ideas just waiting to emerge.

As a people person and somebody that loves nothing more than a good and thoroughly thought-out plan, she inevitably ended up working in events and project management and has close to 15 years industry experience. When she is not researching, planning and coordinating events, she will probably be in her home planning out a three-course meal for friends (with a glass of wine in hand) or busy working on a project for her house.

These locales perfectly capture her passions: a love for shape, form, and structure, and a penchant for exploring the finer things in life through the delicacies of the French countryside.

Grania has an unparalleled eye for detail, bringing big ideas to life with her exceptional understanding of colour and texture. Her extensive experience in
wedding stationery design gives her a unique creative edge, allowing her to infuse any event with a layer of complexity and thoughtfulness.

As a wedding stylist and associate planner, Grania seamlessly incorporates her stationery design expertise into her event planning, ensuring every wedding she touches is cohesive and perfectly detailed. Whether she’s crafting elegant invitations or designing an entire event, Grania’s refined aesthetic and meticulous attention to detail makes each occasion truly special. Plus, she’s always up for a lively conversation, especially over a well-crafted Negroni.
